What the first step collects
We collect company name, website, business address, industry, approximate employee counts, operating and record history, system categories, broad ownership and licensing answers, contact details, preferred contact method and your consent. Do not provide passwords, customer lists, raw emails, footage, patient information, files or exports. We do not connect to your accounts or ingest raw operating records during this qualification.
How your profile is used and stored
Your submitted profile is stored in the site's hosted database for private review, correspondence, matching with published criteria, consent records and deal administration. The owner workspace requires authorization. Hosting providers process information to operate the site. A versioned intake-consent event is stored with the inquiry. We do not sell your intake contact details as a marketing list.
Saved progress and business lookup
Business answers and confirmed public business details are saved in this browser for up to seven days, or until submission or Start fresh. The personal contact form is not included in that saved draft. Avoid entering a private home address if a business mailing address is available. Business search text is sent through our server to Geoapify, which uses OpenStreetMap and other sources. Selecting a business requests its public address, website and any available phone, email and categories. These public details can be incomplete or outdated; you can correct them. We use a hosting-provided visitor IP transiently with Geoapify to estimate your area when available. We do not store the raw IP for this lookup. Approximate location stays in this browser session and is used only to rank search results. Device location is requested only when you choose Use my exact location. It is not saved in your lead profile. Search and place details are cached to reduce repeat requests, and short-lived rotating digests are used for abuse prevention. Manual entry is always available. Geoapify is separate from licensing providers.
Separate approval before a provider introduction
General inquiry consent permits review and contact only. We ask separately before sharing a named company profile with a named provider. Any later transfer of source records is governed by the selected provider's agreement and your authorization, not this initial inquiry.
What de-identification means
Removing or replacing identifiers does not necessarily make business content unreadable or guarantee anonymity. A provider's personnel or processors may review records during preparation. A buyer may learn seller identity in diligence or contracting. Confirm scope, access, use, exclusivity, retention, deletion and payment in the signed agreement.
Retention, updates and requests
We retain profile, consent and deal records while needed to manage the inquiry, document permissions, resolve attribution or payment questions and meet applicable obligations. Email hello@sellmybizdata.com to request access, corrections or deletion, or to withdraw permission for future contact. We may need to verify your authority and retain records required for an active agreement or unresolved matter.
